Blogiversary Knot Grey with Finished Tassel
Submitted by Carol on Sun, 2009.03.22, 15:28
I started by binding the tassel neck with a thin black cord. Then after I finished the black version with a beaded tassel neck I decided that the grey version needed more "bling". To contrast with the randomly beaded neck, plus because I had already put an orderly black whipping on the grey tassel neck, I decided an orderly, lightly beaded design was the way to go. Starting with a round of beads (3 black, 1 silver) around the top and bottom of the existing whipping, I also added a smattering of silver beads to the whipping itself.

I've been virtually published!
Submitted by Carol on Sat, 2009.01.03, 03:19The Knot Heads have published an eZine and the author of the second article is yours truly. Originally titled "Gender and Chinese Knots, Historically" (because I was resisting calling it "Sex and Knots" or "Knotty Sex") it has been retitled a more generic "Chinese Knotting" although the contents have not changed, other than an editorial interjection, that I have noticed. I'll probably republish the article here a some point, but that shouldn't stop you from having a look now if you like. 8)
